"Isaac I swear we come to the airport like once every month. What fox your age needs to come here every month? Are you secretly some super businessfox who goes off and does some sort of secret trades with other companies? You trying to build a monopoly or something?" In a cab with the young orange fox was Marcela Shapaun. The blue vixen was driving the younger vulpine over to the airport when she suddenly decided to question him a little.

"Well if I was a businessfox I wouldn't spend so much time goofing off and doing dumb things with friends. I'd probably come home and head straight to sleep cause all that my life would consist of would be work, work, and more work. But this time I'm not heading anywhere as I have no bags on me. Someone who knows me or something sent me a message saying they wanted to try and hang out or something."

Hearing this placed a questionable look on the blue vixen's face as she was wondering just what he meant by that. He was meeting someone who he didn't even know but wanted to hang with? "You Americans are weird. I honestly don't get you guys in the slightest. So let me get this right, you don't know this guy and he doesn't really know you either, but yet you two are about to spend a day or two together?"

"Sounds about right."

"Yeah, totally not weird in the slightest." Marcela said rolling her eyes.

This got a chuckle out of Isaac as he relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the cab ride to the airport. He did have to admit that this seemed pretty weird and all but if this guy found out how to message him then clearly he knew something about the fox. In Isaac's head, someone he knew probably wanted their friend to also get to know him so maybe that was how this all started. That or he was gonna let some stranger hang with him and get robbed. That likely wasn't going to happen but the thought of it was funny.

After a long drive from the apartment the two foxes had finally arrived to the airport. Now Isaac could go and get this stranger and spend the day with him, or so he thought.

"So, are we gonna wait for him or is he already here?" Marcela asked.

"I don't know. I don't exactly remember a time as to when he would get here. All I know was that his message said he would be here today. So maybe he'll be here for a few minutes and maybe he might be here in a few hours."

Hearing this caused Marcela to sigh as she removed her keys from out the cab and got ready to do nothing. "You know, the more time I spend with you the more you start to seem like how Chester talks about you."

Curious as to what Chester said about him, Isaac asked. "What does he say about me? That I eat all the food? That I need to exercise more? That I'm some no good fox? I believe he said that last one the most of the three."

Small chuckles came from Marcela as she shook her head. "He says you're a very smart fox."

"Aww, that's actually nice of him."

"But you're very dumb for being so smart."

Aww that sounds so much like him as well. But it's sad knowing he's true. I do make some VERY dumb mistakes."

"He's right, but that's alright. You're a very cute fox as well. So sweet and adorable is what you are." Marcela raised her hand over to Isaac's hair as she started to ruffle it a little. She couldn't help but giggle in doing so as Isaac tried to brush her hand from off his head.

"Hey, I am not sweet and I'm definitely not adorable. I would mess you up Marcela if I had to."

A confident scoff came from the blue vixen as she looked at the younger and taller fox. "You? Beat me?! HA! That was actually pretty funny. Chester was right, you are a funny guy."

If anyone was a female Chester it was likely Marcela. She was one of the most confident friends he had and wasn't afraid to show it. Isaac was about to say something back when he notice someone unique looking walking out the airport. This canine walking out appeared to be some purple wolf with blue hair running down to their lower neck area. The message Isaac did receive coming from the stranger said that he would be easily recognizable and if this wasn't easily recognizable then he wasn't sure what was.

"Marcela, I think that's him."

"You think that's him or you know that's him? I don't want a complete stranger in my cab to free load their way wherever they need to go."

"If that's the case then I'm sure that's him. He told me he stood out and who else do you know that's purple with blue hair in this town? I mean you're a weird color but you look natural here."

"I'm gonna just ignore that comment and spare your life this time. But are you REALLY sure that's him? He looks so young!"

"He's likely not that young. Look at Chester, he's 18 but looks 15 or 16 at times. I'm sure the same is for this guy. Stay here, I'm gonna go get him." Opening the door, Isaac stepped out of the cab as he made his way over to wolf. Isaac tried his best to smile as he wanted to come off as a friendly guy and make whoever this was feel welcome. "Hey, uh, you. Welcome to Griffon City! I'm guessing you're the guy who messaged me a while ago?"

Looking at the fox, a nod came from the wolf as it seemed this was in fact the guy he was looking for. "Sorry for not giving much info but I was kinda in a rush. My friend didn't want me to say who told me about you so I thought maybe I should do the same and kinda not say much about myself as well in case you would somehow guess who sent me here. But my name is Akino. Nice to meet you Isaac." The wolf said as he offered his hand out to shake.

Isaac reached his hand out and shook the wolves hand as he nodded his head. "Nice to meet you Akino. And I doubt I ever heard you mentioned anywhere so your friend's identity is safe. Also how about we head over to the cab? Will have a lot more time if we get going now." Isaac offered as he walked his way over to the cab. Akino followed behind the fox as he wanted to see just what would they do today.

Opening up the cab's doors, both boys entered the cab as Marcela looked at her mirror to get a look at the wolf. "This the guy Isaac?"

"Pretty much. I made sure this was him before bringing him here. Also Marcela, this is Akino. Akino, Marcela. This beautiful vixen will be our cab driver for just one more ride as I am not rich and being in Marcela's debt is never fun!" Nervous laughter came from Isaac as he heard Marcela start the cab up and pull off.

"As long as you know that I can trust that you'll pay on time every time. So, where are you boys heading to?" Marcela questioned as she kept her eyes on the rode.

Isaac looked back at Akino to see where he had wanted to go but the purple wolf shrugged his shoulders as he didn't know where anything was. Isaac facepalmed as he remembered that he was the resident here, not his canine friend. But if that was the case then what would they even do then? He knew nothing about Akino so he wasn't sure if he would like what he was into. If that was the case then they would have to spend today just interacting with each other.

"Just drop us off in the center of town. We'll just spend time with each other is all."

"Sounds good to me. Also Akino, I'll likely see you again when I drop you back off at the air port later on so if you have any problems with Isaac be sure to tell me please." An innocent smile was on her face as Isaac scooted away from her a little.

"I'll be sure to tell Ms."

"No need to be so formal. Just call me Marcela."

"Alright....Marcela."

After a long drive back into the center of the city, both Akino and Isaac walked out of the cab as now they were gonna start their own journey together. Isaac waved goodbye to Marcela as Akino told her something else.

"Hasta luego!" Akino told Marcela with a smile.

"Hasta luego! Mantenerse a salvo" Marcela replied back with a smile.

Isaac was confused by what they were saying and had a very confused look on his face. "Marcela, what are you guys saying. Sounds like some foreign language."

"Akino said see you later and I replied back saying see him later as well. Then I told him to stay safe. But I should really get going now. Take care boys." Marcela said driving off as she had somewhere to go.

With the blue vixen now gone, it was time to find out just who this Akino guy was. He didn't really say to much in the cab so he couldn't really get a feel out of what he was like. "So Akino, what do you like to do? Sports, read, play games, eat, something mind blowing, or just nothing? You don't have to say much if you don't want to."

"Well, I like to wrestle from time to time with friends but being a wolf means I'm stronger than most people would think. So sometimes I need to be careful to not hurt anyone around me."

The thought of wrestling Akino sounded appealing at first as it would be something the two boys could do, but he sounded like the type of wolf who wasn't really a violent guy and would hate himself for hurting anyone. That and he sounded confident in his strength and Isaac didn't want to risk losing to the guy. "Er, what else?"

"I also like playing games like Pokemon. It's a very fun series and I can't wait for the next installment."

A smile was on Isaac's face as that was something he could relate to. "Pokemon huh? Well what if I told you I was a fan of the games as well? I've been playing since gen 3 and have been having a blast ever since. Guessing the most recent game you played was Sun and Moon right?"

Akino nodded his head. "I got the game around Easter time so I haven't been playing to long but I've been enjoying the game so much in that time. Alola is a very fun region to explore."

"It really is. Especially when I played through the game with friends. We tried to play through the games at a similar pace that way we could experience everything together. It made the game feel way better than probably playing a lone and listening to my friends' struggle with certain parts of the game was a joy to hear. Maybe in the future we could do that together?"

"That sounds like a very fun idea! I would love to do that. Although I tend to take my time in these games as I want to explore as much as possible to get the most out of the game."

"I agree with you there. It's like why speed through a new game when you never played it before? Your first time playing any game is the most important one as it's the one that'll leave the most memories in your head. The developers worked hard to make these games filled with exploration and I wanna spend my time seeing just what they have in store for us."

"Speaking of exploring, what other games do you play Isaac?"

"Well I'm not wearing the shirt right now but I am a huge Star Fox fan. The games are underrated gems in my eyes but they are fairly short for the most part. The cast is the main eye catcher in my opinion as they all have different personalities that are so fun to see. The proud and brave Fox McCloud, the cocky and arrogant Falco Lombardi, the silly and goofy Slippy Toad, the wise and elderly Peppy Hare, and then you have Ms. Telepath herself, Krystal. I could gush about these games for a whole day but I wouldn't want to bore you with that."

"Oh don't worry about me. If you want to then go head. I personally on played 64 and Adventures but they were both very good and fun games. Despite being very different games, I liked them for what they were. Never had a chance to play Assault but it would be nice to give it a chance."

Isaac couldn't help but smile at the young wolf. It seemed as if he was a very open minded canine who was willing to accept things for being different. "Assault is probably the shortest game in he series but is my personal favorite if I'm being honest. All the characters had matured in this game and the story was a lot more serious as well in this game. Each character had their own stats so they didn't feel like carbon copies in the multiplayer. Even by today's standards, I would say the game aged wonderfully in terms of looks. And the music is in my opinion the best of the series. But all of this is just my opinion though."

"I gotta say that hearing all of this makes the game seem like something to look forward to but judging by that last thing you said I'm guessing it's not agreed upon with fans?"

"It tried something new which some fans liked and other fans didn't. But it made the multiplayer so amazing that I say it was worth it."

Akino nodded his head as he understood what Isaac meant. "So how about outside of games? Like...what's your favorite and least favorite school subjects?"

"Math was what I always found easiest and grew to like the most. Usually you're right or you're wrong. Nothing else. I liked that about math because you were either sure you were right or sure you were wrong. However, that's why I didn't like reading and writing growing up. The stories they had us read never really interested me outside of a few and English was just boring with a bunch of maybes. You could use these words with this subject but only if these conditions are met. Oh, did I forget to tell you that there are like exceptions to these rules and every year you'll slowly learn more and more things that'll likely have multiple loop holes in them? Yeah, fuck English and Reading."

Akino couldn't help but laugh at his friend as he could see the frustration in Isaac's face. "Science was a subject I was sorta decent in. I wasn't wow at it but I knew some space and rock stuff which made passing certain science classes easier than others. But I was very good at math. That was the subject I was most confident in."

Even if they only got to know very little about each other, Isaac was able to tell that Akino was a very friendly and kind guy he could get along with. He could likely try and learn even more about him now but why bother doing all of that in one day? The guy probably just wanted to go and have some fun.

"So, how about you come over to my apartment so we can play some Mario Kart? Sounds fun?" Isaac questioned.

"Of course! I love Mario Kart! I'd gladly come over to come and play!"

"Now that's what I wanted to hear! Follow me, we got a good walk to go before we get to the apartment but I'm sure you'll have fun before we get there. Lets get going then. The sooner we get there the better." Akino nodded his head in agreement as it seemed like he was in for a fun time with the fox. He would definitely have to thank his friend for recommending spending time with Isaac. He was a nice fox and would gladly spend more time with him.
